Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the hedgehog released on 25thof January,2020 is a action-adventure comedy film directed by Jeff Fowler and written by Pat Carry and Josh Miller. The film is based on the video game franchise published by Sega. The main cast of the movie includes Sonic the Hedgehog , Jim Carry as “Dr.Robotnik” and James Marsden as “Thomas Michael”. Ben Schwartz provided voice for the character Sonic the Hedgehog.

Jim carry as Dr. Robotnik played a negative role as a mad Scientist and an inventor who is after sonic for his superpower. Sonic is an extraterrestrial blue hedgehog who can run at supersonic speed. Thomas Michael is a positive character who helped sonic to escape. Talking about the plot the story revolves around Sonic who finds his lost rings and escape from the cruel Dr.Robotnik. The story begins as Sonic the blue hedgehog who can run at supersonic speed, finds himself sought after by a tribe of echidnas fo his power. Hia guardian LongClaw the owl , gives him a baf of rings that can create portal to other planets,using one to send him to the earth while she protects him from the Echidnas and also gives him a map of a planet filled with mushrooms to use if he finds trouble on earth. But later we can see sonic finds himself alone in the earth and one night upset over his loneliness while playing baseball by himself he starts running and he runs at supersonic speed which triggered an electromagnetic pulse that knocks out the power of the whole city. United states department of defence appoints Dr.Robotnik to discover the source behind the incident. After Dr.Robotnik finds sonic he tries to use sonic’s superpower to conquer the world . While escaping from Dr.Robotnik, Tom accidentally shoots him with a tranquilizer causing him to send his bag of rings through a portal to San Fransisco but later Tom agrees to help Sonic Before Dr.Robotnik arrives at Wachowkis House. An Intense action scene can be seen between sonic and Dr .Robotnick with an excellent climax. Jim Carry’s performance as Dr.Robotnick is excellent and praise and animation received good response although initially the after the trailer launched the animation of the movie was criticized. The story line is predictable and weak. Overall the movie is a good one to watch.
