The Seventh Dwarf ‘The Seventh Dwarf’ is a German 3D animation film co-directed by Boris Aljinovic and Harald Siepermann. This one is a sequel to the films ‘7 Dwarves- Men Alone in the Wood’ and ‘7 Dwarves- The Forest is Not Enough’, based upon the fairy tale ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarves’ from ‘The Sleeping Beauty’.

Princess Rose has been cursed by the evil witch Dellamorta. On her 18th birthday celebration, Princess Rose gets accidentally pricked by the seventh dwarf Bobo and according to the curse the princess fell asleep for hundred years. She needs a kiss from her lover to wake up again and the witch captures Jack the lover with the help of a dragon. The seven  Dwarf go on a mission to save Jack so that he can save the Princess.

The Seventh Dwarf

All the 3D characters of the film are created using 3Ds Max software and rigged with visual skeletons. The animators created simplified representations of each character’s anatomy which is analogous to the skeletons and stick figures. No live action motion was captured as the entire film is made using software like Adobe Flash and 3Ds Max.

‘The Seventh Dwarf’ is produced by a German production house called Zipfelmützen GmbH & Co. and distributed by Universal Pictures. The sound mixing of the film has done by Dolby Digital.
