Spirit of the Forest

Dygra Films and Fantastic Films production ‘Spirit of the Forest’ is an animated children story. Director David Rubin won the second best director in Children’s Jury Award for this film in the animated feature film category.

The movie features the voices of Maria Adanez, Sean Astin, Tom Clarke Hill, Anjelica Huston and many famous actors of the industry.
Antagonist Mrs. D’Abondo wants to cut down a forest of the living tress so that she can make way for a highway. The forest is home to a bunch of animals like Furi, Tigre and Cebolo who are against the demolition of their home. Together they fight against the army of Mrs. D’Abondoand finally manage to defeat them.
Supervised by Ruben Ares, the entire animation and visual graphics department contains more than fifteen animators and vfx artists. Static images are given life and movements in this film. The images are projected sequentially so that it creates an illusion of movement. The images include 3D models made in 3Ds Max and hand-made pictures as well.
The team has used morphing technique for detailing and creating particles like fur of the animals and leaves and bush of the forest. Famous Dolby laboratory is responsible for the sound mixing of the film.The team took almost a year to finish creating this 94 minute film.
