Our favorite Asgardian punching, hammer twirling superhero is getting another movie!

This Marvel Comic book adaptation is the third helping of the movies starring the character Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth.
Post the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Thor returns to Asgard upon hearing that his home town is in trouble. He finds Loki’s style of ruling, although quite similar to his Father Odin’s, has somehow created loopholes in its rules which lead to the freeing of Hela.
Thor gets blasted to Sakaar, after getting into a blowout with Hela, without his hammer. Thor must now fight the most powerful gladiator in the arena in order to win his hammer back. The gladiator incidentally being an old friend – The Hulk.
Thor must win the fight in order to return to his home planet and fight Hela and the looming Ragnarok, meaning the doom of the Asgardian Civilization.
